          UC Hastings Ranks #31 in National Law Journal's Top 50 Go-To Law Schools Report

          Annual report identifies the U.S. law schools supplying the most associates to the nation’s largest law firms.

          The 2016 Go-To Law Schools

          The National Law Journal (NLJ) has ranked UC Hastings College of the Law as the No. 31 “Go-To” law school in its 2016 report.

          This annual report identifies the top 50 law schools with the highest percentage of 2015 juris doctor (JD) graduates hired as first-year associates at the nation’s most prestigious law firms.

          In 2015, 34 UC Hastings JD graduates, or 11% percent of the class, accepted positions with NLJ 250 firms. UC Hastings moved up seven places in this year’s NLJ ranking.

          The National Law Journal also ranked UC Hastings 23rd for "Associates to Partner" (the schools that saw the most alumni promoted to partner during 2015), and identified UC Hastings as the "Firm Favorite" for Holland & Knight.
