          UC Hastings named to PreLaw’s “Best” Lists for Government, IP, and Tech Law Specialties

          UC Hastings will be accepting applications for fall 2016 enrollment until March 1st.

          UC Hastings has been named to the “Best” lists for Government, IP, and Tech Law in the Winter 2016 edition of PreLaw
           
          For students considering a career in policy or politics, UC Hastings offers a concentration in Government Law featuring both a Local Government Clinic housed in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office or at other Bay Area city attorney offices, and a Legislation Clinic with placements in the State Capitol in Sacramento. 
           
          The Intellectual Property concentration at UC Hastings is bolstered by strong ties to Silicon Valley, IP firms in San Francisco, and California’s art and entertainment industries. Students can enroll in the College’s innovative Startup Legal Garage, which provides legal work for early stage tech and biotech startups.   
           
          Students with an interest in technology law can also take advantage of UC Hastings’ new Liberty Security & Technology Clinic. Students enrolled in the clinic represent defendants in complex federal cases involving surveillance, national security, or cybersecurity charges. 
           
          UC Hastings will be accepting applications for fall 2016 enrollment until March 1. There is no fee to apply. Please contact the Admissions Office for further information about the application process
